COCONUT
The coconut palm grows along the oceanic coasts and in low, sandy beaches. When the fruit falls, it rolls down towards the banks where it is captured by the waves and dragged far away from its place of origins.
After having used the water reserves contained within the shell (coconut milk), the fruit that has been transported by the currents, having reached a new island, starts to germinate after about 6 months. The coconut palm is a symbolic plant of the tropical coasts and has always represented an irreplaceable resource for man.
