NITO

This is a climbing fern belonging to the Schizeacee family, typical of the equatorial forests. Its vine can grow out of all proportion. It is said that if its shoots are reduced to a pulp and applied to poisonous insect or snake bites, it neutralizes the poison. Nito is a material with a peculiar texture that is transparent in the light. It is rough to the touch and flexible, its surface offers an infinite number of possible designs. Its weave is used for many objects of daily use. The colour may vary from green to light brown up to black.
